Cameron's Love Affair with NYC

We spent the long weekend in NYC, which is quite possibly Cameron's favorite city. Although I was terrible about taking pictures, we had a fantastic weekend. We visited the American Museum of Natural History, where Cameron was thrilled by the dinosaur exhibit, and the Central Park Zoo, however, Cameron was more fascinated by the horse drawn carriages, or as he called it, "the parade of horsies!." We also took a couple of strolls through Times Square where Cameron experienced serious sensory overload. He was amazed by the people in costumes - he saw Garfield, Elmo, Batman, and he had to give Spiderman 5! Thankfully we did not see the man who plays his guitar in his underwear (imagine trying to explain that to a two year old). Much to Cameron's great enjoyment, every trip involved the Subway! He would start cracking up every time the train took off because he loved the bumpy ride. Most importantly, Cameron got to take his first taxi ride - what could be better for a little boy?

If you ask Cameron what his favorite part of NYC is though, he'll tell you "Aunt Catherine." We were lucky to spend the entire weekend with my sister and Cameron ate it up.

When we got home yesterday, Cameron looked at Dennis and I and said, "Thank you for taking me on my trip." I love it!

Big Brother

Cameron's newest obsession is feeling his baby brother or sister jump around. He's also been trying to figure out how the baby got in Mommy's belly - the other day, he asked me if I ate his baby brother or sister!
