The Polar Express

Last night, Dennis, Cameron, and I went for a ride on The Polar Express! Cameron got to wear his PJs and we rode the train all the way to the North Pole, while feasting on hot chocolate and cookies. Once we reached Santa's village, the old man himself boarded the train. This Christmas season has been so amazing to share with Cameron. Everything seems magical through the eyes of a two year old.

Rerun

Well, we have an appointment for our ultrasound this week and Dennis and I are excited to see Rerun! We've decided not to find out the sex of the baby (at least for now). If you want to take a guess as to the gender, size, and birthdate, follow this link for our online baby poll!

Thanksgiving in NYC

Cameron got to enjoy Thanksgiving in NYC this year with Grammy and Grandpa, Aunt Catherine, and Uncle Mike. We kicked off the weekend with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see the Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes - and the spectacular part was that Cameron sat still for the ENTIRE hour and a half show . . .

Then, the next day, we enjoyed the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a little cold, but Big Bird was there!

However, the highlights for Cameron were probably Times Square and riding the subway . . .

The Highlight of Cameron's Life (So Far)

So, I finally had a chance to upload my pictures from the last month (I misplaced the USB cord in the move). And, although it's been a few weeks, I have to share the biggest events of Cameron's life so far!

First, while we were in Peoria, Cameron's Uncle Rosie invited Cameron to visit him at work. Cameron got to ride in a combine harvester and a semi-truck. Uncle Rosie is one of Cameron's heroes!!

Another of Cameron's heroes is Uncle Cory. Uncle Cory is a police officer and he was kind enough to bring his police car by for Cameron to check out. Thanks Uncle Cory!!

7 Secrets . . .

I have been tagged by a friend to tell 7 secrets about myself. I'm going to modify it a bit and tell you 7 things about me that aren't necessarily secrets but you probably don't know . . .

1. I have a scar on my knee from falling into a sewer in Singapore.

2. My Granny calls me "Annie" - and she's the only person allowed to do so.

3. I don't like lunchmeat.

4. I watch "The Hills" - now I'm really embarrassed!!

5. When I was little, I fell off the bed and cracked my head open while jumping on the bed and singing "No More Monkeys Jumping on the Bed." Now, if only I could convince Cameron not to!

Actually, it looks like I can only think of 5 . . . I'm drawing a total blank right now.

The Party's Almost Over . . .

My brother and I are 17 months apart, and I like to joke that the first 17 months of my life were great and then the party came crashing to an end. Well, Cameron's party is almost over! He's expecting a baby brother or sister in May . . .

Then again, maybe the party is just beginning!!

Happy Halloween

Now I know why all of my teacher friends hate Halloween. Cameron had two packets of fruit snacks and was bouncing off of the walls. Guess I'll have to eat his candy this year!!

Just Waiting . . .

Our household goods are taking longer than expected to arrive in RI so Cameron and I are spending some time in the Midwest waiting . . . despite the picture, Cameron has been anything but bored. We visited Mama and Papa in Peoria and now we’re in Kansas City with Grammy and Grandpa.

Ready for Halloween??

We are! Dennis decided that Cameron needed a Jack-O-Lantern in CA and RI so Cameron got to help Daddy carve a pumpkin last night.

The Countdown is On!

The countdown to the big move East is on. With only a few weeks left, the Zogg family is trying to maximize on all the fun that Southern California has to offer. This weekend, Cameron visited the Coronado Speed Fest, which included a car show, car races of historic race cars, and a showcase of various military aircraft. We also took a hike at Torrey Pines - Cameron liked to kick the dirt and hunt for rocks. Finally, Cameron and Daddy went to the rodeo today to see the cowboys!!

"Sarah With The Sunglasses"

Our friends Anna, Kevin, and Sarah (or as Cameron calls her, "Sarah with the sunglasses"), were kind enough to make the trek down from Fresno to visit us this past weekend. We had a fantastic weekend and really enjoyed their visit - thanks for coming guys!

Football Season!!

Cameron's two new favorite pastimes are watching football and imitating the players. I can’t begin to count the number of times he asked me to watch “Notre Dame Football” this week. And poor Chico lives in fear of being tackled!

Thanks to Mama and Papa, Cameron will be properly attired for every game! I can't believe that they make "The Shirt" in toddler sizes now!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Cameron has been eagerly anticipating Dennis' birthday for weeks! To celebrate yesterday, Cameron decorated the cake and helped Daddy blow out his candles (in case if you didn't notice, there aren't exactly 33 candles on the cake!) . . .

Where Is the Summer Going??

I can't believe that it's the last week of August already. It's been almost six weeks since I've provided an update on the life of Cameron! So, here's a synopsis of the last few weeks . . .

In mid-July, we went to Fresno to see Grammy and Grandpa who were visiting "the No," as well as my Great-Granny Franny.

Then Aunt Catherine came to town for a visit before she moved to New York City!! I ALWAYS have fun with Aunt Catherine around . . .

Next, my cousin Olivia came to visit from Peoria. I got to show her some of my favorite spots, including Sea World, the Zoo and the Beach. We had a fantastic visit!

I learned that I'm a BIG fan of ranch dressing . . .

And then I headed to Kansas City to visit Grammy and Grandpa for a week. What a busy week!
