Thankgiving Leaves!

We're spending Thanksgiving with Grammy and Grandpa and have been surprised by some unseasonably warm weather! So warm that Cameron decides he doesn't need his shirt after some vigorous play time with Danny in the leaves.

Things I Didn't Expect to Hear While Potty Training . . .

"Underwear are NOT Yummy" - Danny, my little foodie, classifies all good things in life as "Yummy" or "Delicious."  On day 2 of potty training, he informed me that he was not a fan!

We have moved passed that point now to wanting to know who wears underwear, including my new favorite, "Does R2-D2 wear underwear?"

Just One Summer Picture

So I realize that I basically ignored the ENTIRE summer with my previous post but I had to share one fabulous picture of Cameron preparing to boogie board while we were in California . . .

It's Over!

Hmm . . . wondering where we have been for the last 4 months?  Me too!  Actually, we had a VERY LONG summer.  Cameron's school is undergoing construction and we got to have a 4 month summer as a result.  We had a wonderful summer but everyone is happy that summer is OVER and school has started again (by everyone, I mean me!!)

Now, I have to admit that the picture of Danny running in to preschool makes me a little sad but everyday that I have picked him up, he comes running into my arms to give me a big hug!

Danny The Fashionista

Danny has some VERY STRONG opinions about what he wears on a daily basis. He has a strong preference for wearing anything green, his rainboots, and a bike helmet at all times. Here are a few of his ensembles over the past couple of weeks . . .

My Little Daredevil!

Cameron learned to ride his bike on Saturday and then promptly asked us to build him a ramp. On Sunday, he asked how Travis Pastrana makes his bike flip over - as if we haven't been to the ER enough during his short life thus far!!

My Kind of Runner!

Danny ran his first race yesterday! Cameron ran a St. Patrick's Day race last year (his first) and this year, Danny wanted to be just like his big brother. I might be biased but, it was the cutest thing that I have seen in a long time! Danny came in dead last (in the middle picture above you can see the volunteers picking up the cones behind him); the race officials were packing up the finish line when I heard someone shout "Oh, here comes another one!" To his credit though, despite having the shortest legs of all the runners, he ran the whole 1/2 mile, smiled the entire way, and cheered on his big brothers and friends way ahead of him on the out and back course. That's my kind of runner!
