Sleep Deprivation
So, we are living in a hell of sleep deprivation and potty training. What a way to spend Dennis' summer vacation! Hopefully, life will settle down for us in the next couple of weeks and we can enjoy the opportunity to explore the Northeast. Honestly though, I feel like I've been saying "hopefully life will settle down for us soon" for the past 5 years!!
At any rate, here's some pics of the boys. Danny is growing like a weed. I can't get over how big he is and how fast time seems to fly. He's 6 weeks old already!

Tummy time!

Cameron found a slug in the yard the other day and was very excited to introduce it to his baby brother. In case if you are wondering, slug slime is VERY difficult to wash off!

We enjoyed a visit from Mama, Papa, Aunt Jenni and Cousin Olivia recently. We had a lovely visit and I wish that I had more pictures of all of the adventures that they took! Just to name a few of the hightlights, Cameron and his Cousin Olivia visited the beach, the Children's Museum, and the circus while they were here!

Danny's First Two Weeks
Well, we are adjusting to being a family of four. Danny is doing great - he eats, sleeps, and dirties his diapers just like a newborn should. At his two week appointment, we discovered that he already gained a pound, making him bigger now than Cameron was at 6 weeks. Cameron is a great helper and, although he has his moments, he seems to be doing well. He's only asked me once when Danny is going back into my belly! And Dennis and I are surviving the sleep deprivation. So, all is well!

Grandpa Dan and Baby Danny
I also wanted to share Cameron's humorous tidbit for the week: The other day, while we were sitting down for lunch, Cameron looked at me and said, "Here's the deal. First, we're going to have lunch. Then, we're going to have nap time. Then, we're going to have a snack. And then, a special surprise!" I'm not sure what surprise Cameron had in mind, but I think I know who is in charge around here!

Daniel Matthew Zogg
Daniel joined our family on Friday, May 15th, at 6:11am. He was schedule to arrive later in the day and just couldn't wait! I started having contractions in the middle of the night and Daniel made his arrival a little less than two hours after we got to the hospital. He outweighed his older brother by almost a pound at birth, weighing in at 7 lbs 1.5 ounces. He was initially measured at a very short 17 inches but, after a few days and a chance to stretch out, he was officially measured at 19.5 inches. As you can see, Cameron is a very proud big brother!
We are all home now and doing great. In fact, Daniel is expecting a very special visit from his Grandpa Dan this evening.

And for those of you who particpated in our online baby pool, Daniel's grandmother, Mama, came closest, guessing that Rerun would be a boy born on May 10th at 5:10am! For her prize, she gets lots of hugs and kisses from her grandsons when she visits in June!

T-Ball
Cameron had his first day of T-Ball yesterday! The 3-year-old program is run more like a clinic than a T-Ball league. The kids meet once a week with their parents and they rotate through a series of stations: batting, playing catch, and running the bases. Cameron has been practicing with Daddy in the backyard for a few weeks now with a plastic bat. I didn't go with the boys but, apparently, the weight of the aluminum bat knocked Cameron for a bit of a loop the first time that he swung it and he landed on his butt!

Happy 3rd Birthday Cameron!
We celebrated Cameron's birthday a bit early last night. It's hard to believe that he is (almost) 3! He was absolutely beside himself with excitement over the cupcakes. As you might be able to guess, he put the candles in himself! Grammy also made him cupcakes to take to school today so he's had a very exciting few days!!
